Introduction

The Makó Industrial Park has received the title of industrial park in 1998 from the Ministry of Economy. The park has been established in the centre of the Makó small region. Its profile mainly focuses on agricultural processing, food industry, renewable energy, logistics, the electronics and the automotive industries, but we are open to all industrial sectors together with the connecting trades and services.

Location

The industrial park is located in the North-eastern part of Makó, on the industrial area designated according to the regulation plan. The area is bordered by the Makó-Hódmezővásárhely railway, by-pass road no. 4432 in the direction of Rákos and by-pass road no. 4424 to Királyhegyes. The Makó Industrial Park is part of the Makó and Region Business Zone.
Its area comprises 56,5 hectares, out of which 11,5 hectares are occupied by already settled companies. Further 11,6 hectares have public utilities and are available for investors. The rest of the area will be going through a public utility development project next year whereby new roads together with electricity, gas and water lines will be built.

Accessibility

The area is accessible directly from Road no. 4424 Királyhegyesi or from Road Rákosi no. 4432. The inner road of the industrial area is 1149 m long and divides the park into three areas.

Motorway M 43 will be built by 2010, the road will be running right next to the industrial park.

Buildings

The Makó Industrial Park provides Greenfield investment opportunities on rented or purchased sites. An incubator house is available for the companies. Its aim is to help SMEs by letting offices and smaller workshops furthermore to provide them with meeting rooms and telecommunication equipment.
